Customer stories: How Holly and Joe Mrazik use better tech to have a better drive


We love getting the chance to hear drivers’ stories and learn how we are helping make life on the road easier. We want to share one such story on today’s blog.

Meet Holly and Joe Mrazik.

Holly and Joe are Landstar drivers who have been a team on the road for fifteen years, and a team in life for 43 years (wow!). This married couple loves getting to travel the country alongside one another all while on the job. We are honored to now be a part of making those travels go smoother with the KeepTruckin ELD.

We talked to Holly while Joe was behind the wheel, and here’s what she had to say:

Joe and I have been driving together for all fifteen years that we’ve been drivers. We’ve gotten to see the entire country together, and we get to see working America—a side of America that not many get to see the way we do.

While they get to share in these experiences of American life on the road, the drive doesn’t always go as expected. This can be particularly frustrating when an issue arises because of poorly functioning technologysomething that drivers shouldn’t have to add to their list of concerns.

We had an Omnitrac MCP50 that was incredibly slow and constantly losing service. We talked to other drivers who used KeepTruckin, and they talked about being able to use the app on their tablet and recommended that we try it. So we did.

So, we asked Holly what they think of their KeepTruckin ELD.

It’s just so much faster and simpler than our old ELD. It was easy to install. We did it ourselves. We didn’t have to go to a service shop or anything to get it working.

The best thing about it has been the great support, though. We are so used to being put on hold for thirty to forty minutes when trying to get support in the past. So we were amazed by how quickly we got to talk to a person who actually knew what they were talking about. We love the customer support.

Holly and Joe are now able to confidently drive without giving a second thought to their ELD. They get to avoid undeserved violations or undue frustrations and can simply focus on getting their deliveries made on time and enjoying the journey along the way.
